Seperate biowaste - Your contribution counts!

For a healthy environment and a future worth living

Actually it is the most natural thing on earth – what the earth breeds should be returned to the earth. Nature produces no waste, the human does. To keep rubbish heaps small and to preserve the resources of our earth recycling is the best option right after avoidance. Everyone can contribute to environmental protection by the correct separation of biowaste.

Biowaste is a natural and high-quality resource but only if it is collected separately. Then it can be used in a biogas plant for energy generation or recycled in composting.

      Small effort – Huge impact

  • The seperate collection of biowaste reduces the residual waste by up to 25 %
  • Compost can be produced from separately collected biowaste. Compost substitutes fertilizer and peat and counteracts the over-fertilization of our earth and our water.
  • High-quality compost can create mould, act as nutritive substance for the earth and improves the soil.
  • Furthermore composting contributes to climate protection through the fixation of carbon in mould.
  • Biowaste can substitute fossil fuels as a source of energy: 1 m³ biogas corresponds to 0.6 litres of fuel oil.

A natural cycle

Even small leftovers of natural products contain valuable resources. Over time they become compost and out of it new plants will grow. This is the beginning of an endless natural cycle without waste.
