Our identity and mission

The "Umweltprofis", consisting of the association for waste management of the Province of Upper Austria, 15 associations for waste management in the administrative districts of Upper Austria, three statutory cities and the LAVU AG - stand for sustainable safety concerning disposal of waste materials and municipal solid waste. We are a non-profit organization governed by public law. We combine ecology and economy in our actions in the best possible manner and provide our services a reasonable price for our citizens. We contribute our expertise in the field of environmental management to raise the citizens´ environmental awareness.

We are the contact for citizens, public and municipal institutions and small businesses for issues concerning safe, low-cost, easy and sustainable and disposal of waste materials and municipal solid waste. Our competency and network will help us to advocate for waste avoidance with producers and customers.
